It gives me great pleasure to welcome all and sundry to this epoch-making two-in-one occasion of the sixth National Jamboree of the Royal Ambassadors of Nigeria and the 3rd All Africa Baptist Royal Ambassadors Conference (AABRAC) holding here in Lagos, Nigeria. The last Jamboree held in 2012 at Abuja while the last AABRAC held in 2010 at Ibadan, Nigeria. I am therefore delighted to welcome you all, especially our international brothers to Nigeria.
Let me pause to appreciate the initiator of the all Africa Conference (Hon. Dr. Dawari George) whom providence made the president of Baptist Men of Nigeria and now president, All Africa Baptist Men’s Fellowship (AABMF). Coun. Pst. FAS Akinola, who conveyed and presided over the second AABRAC is also commended for keeping the tempo alive. To the first and second Marshal, Coun. Dn. Bayo Oyeniyi and Coun. Dn. J.O Oyekan, we thank you for nurturing the idea of Jamboree to its present glorious and enviable status. It has indeed become a programme every RA looks towards to.
Brethren, let me remind you all that this Jamboree/Conference affords us the opportunity of fellowshiping and sharing together as Christ Ambassadors in Africa and to reflect on real issues affecting boys and the Christian faith. I therefore challenge all participants to give in their best for us to get the best out of this programme.
Once again, I thank you all for attending and I welcome you to this programme in the most precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Do have a wonderful stay here in Nigeria.
Again, you are all welcome.
Coun. Ayo Adekunle (Post Pleni)
Royal Ambassadors of Nigeria.
